rolfing + trigger pointing

Service Description

Remedial means to remedy or correct an issue. Clinical knowledge is used to apply specific techniques to move, smooth, stretch, lengthen, activate or relax the soft tissues in the body; effectively recondition and reshape it! Creating more space so the different parts of the body have better dynamics with more room and range to move freely and work together in more ease and balance. It can alleviate strains or tensions that contribute to pain, a lack of range of motion, joint pressure or degeneration, nerve entrapment or pinching, poor muscle motor function, bulking tissue and of course relieve the sore spots and knots (trigger points). It involves deep pressure and techniques like trigger pointing and stripping, which can be slightly painful but usually a "good" pain that provides some immediate relief afterwards. Nothing is forced and correct technique and good communication minimises any unpleasantness that can come from moving stubborn muscle fibres and fascia. This can help address many issues such as lower back, neck and shoulder pain, bursitis, frozen shoulder syndrome, golfers/tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, ITB and knee pain, meniscus tears, tendonitis, recovering sports injuries and poor posture.
